International Law Firm Deepens Its South East Asian Coverage

Morrison & Foerster, the international law firm that specialises in financial institutions, continues to expand its Singapore office with the addition of two new partners.
Jake Robson and Adam Summerly join from the Singapore office of Norton Rose Fulbright, bringing eight and 14 years of industry experience respectively.
In this new role, Robson focuses on merger and acquisition, private equity, cross-border investment, joint ventures and asset-based deals throughout Asia. He also handles capital markets transactions. Summerly advises clients on on a range of corporate deals, including M&A, private equity, cross-border investment and joint ventures. Together, they address the clientele across South and South East Asia.
Morrison & Foerster opened its Singapore branch in early 2013 to support its clients' growing commitments to South and South East Asia. The local office's key practice areas include M&A, private equity, real estate, project finance, tax, FCPA and anti-corruption, internal investigations and dispute resolution.
In Japan, the company is the largest international law firm. Its other offices in Asia are located in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The hires of Robson and Summerly complement the relocation of longtime Tokyo litigation partner Daniel Levison to Singapore in May.
