International Law Firm Creates Private Client Unit; More Appointments Planned

International law firm Osborne Clarke has launched a private client wealth practice, and plans new appointments later this year.

International law firm Osborne Clarke yesterday launched a dedicated private wealth practice to serve its high net worth clientèle around the world.

Stuart Janaway and Andrew Goodman have been appointed to lead the practice, which will offer a range of services, including tax and estate planning, immigration, property advice and litigation support.

Janaway joins from the boutique private client firm New Quadrant Partners, where he was a partner. He serves ultra-high net worth families, trustees, trust companies, charities and private banks. His experience includes advising on private investment funds and tax-efficient investment structures.

Goodman was previously partner at Taylor Wessing's private client group. He covers cross-border interests on investment structures and succession planning.

Osborne Clarke currently employs 600 lawyers in 18 international offices. Further appointments to its private wealth practice will follow throughout the year, Osborne Clarke said in its statement.
