Insight Investment Reveals New Multi-Asset Team Structure

UK-based Insight Investment Management, part of the HBOS banking group recently acquired by rival Lloyds TSB, has revealed the new structure of its multi-asset group following last year's departure of co-heads Patrick Armstrong and Ana Cukic Armstrong, along with director of investment selection Toby Hayes, according to FT Advisor.
Steve Waddington, former director of investement selection, and investment analyst James de Bunsen will now oversee Insight’s bottom-up investment approach; the top-down aspect of the process will be handled by Eugen Fostiak, director of portfolio strategy and construction, with the assistance of Julien Lederer, quantitative strategist in the alternative investments team
Advising the multi-asset group are: Sonja Uys, absolute return strategies product specialist; Neil Walker, investment strategist; and Richard Lloyd, head of structured solutions.
Earlier this month Insight named Michael Pinggera as the new head of its multi-asset group, reporting to head of alternatives Reza Vishkai.
Insight Investment manages funds for institutional and retail clients across a range of asset types including equities, bonds, derivatives and alternatives. Based in London, the firm’s assets under management totalled £112 billion (approximately $164 billion) as at 30 September 2008.
