ING Investment Management Changes Brand Name

Since an IPO of the business last year, ING Investment Management has had a brand makeover.

The business formerly known as ING Investment Management, which was listed in the Netherlands as part of an initial public offering last year, is now operating under the brand of NN Investment Partners. The firm serves clients in Asia, the Americas, Europe and other regions.

The investment house oversees around €186 billion of assets in areas such as fixed income, equities, multi-asset strategies and fiduciary services, NNIP said in a statement yesterday.

“The name ‘NN Investment Partners’ underscores our belief that by partnering with our clients and working side by side with them, we can provide attractive and relevant solutions that meet their needs,” Hans Stoter, chief investment officer at NN Investment Partners, said.

NN Investment Partners’ history dates back to 1845 and reflects its roots as a Dutch insurer and bank. The firm is described as the “leading provider of investment funds in the Netherlands and among the top three players in Belgium and Poland”.

The ING Investment Management business was spun off by parent financial services group ING last year.
