ING Bank Names Singapore Country Head

ING Bank has appointed a new country manager for Singapore.

Starting 1 November 2012, Catherine Low assumes the top position at ING Bank Singapore, in addition to current role as regional head of international trade and export finance, Asia. 

She continues to report functionally to Paul van Heerde and Paul Dekker, the global heads of trade and commodity finance and ITEF, but will also begin reporting to Mark Newman, chief executive of ING Commercial Banking Asia. She succeeds Krista Baetens, who has been named head of commercial banking and CEO of ING Bank in Milan, Italy.

ING Singapore provides structured finance, general lending, debt capital markets, financial markets and mergers and acquisitions advisory services through its over 300 staff in the city-state. Singapore is the company's regional headquarters for Asia.
