Informa Teams Up With Institutional Advisor For New Front-Office Wealth Tech Platform

Informa Investment Solutions, a division of Informa that provides private wealth advisory software, has teamed up with Rocaton Investment Advisors to launch WealthIQ+, a front-office wealth technology platform.

The platform embeds intelligence from Rocaton, an institutional advisor, on issues such as asset allocation, risk management and manager selection.

"Competition in the Wealth Management industry is stiff, and regulation is increasingly stringent," said Lac Vuong, managing director of IIS. "Brokerage, bank and trust companies are consolidating and integrating investment advisory businesses, increasing the pressure for platform sponsors and advisors to perform more efficiently and escalating the demand for more effective technology."

The material from Rocaton available on the platform is designed to make the process of turning prospects into clients more efficient, Informa said. It includes a “needs-based” investor questionnaire; institutionally-based asset allocation models; investment strategy research, and market environment and investment research updates.

From Informa’s offering, the platform includes single-point access to clients’ and prospects’ profiles, including the investment strategy statement and a book of business view; portfolio construction workflow; branded proposal generation; processes for client onboarding and analytics to analyze and develop portfolios.
