Infocus Wealth Founder Steps Down, COO Takes Over As CEO

Infocus Wealth Management, the Australian wealth firm, has announced that its founding director is stepping down from a key position within the company.

Darren Steinhardt leaves his role as managing director, but will remain with the firm to mentor and serve as brand ambassador. He will be replaced by Rod Bristow, who assumes the role of chief executive.

Bristow was previously the chief operating officer at Infocus. Prior to that, he was COO of CommSec.

Infocus Wealth Management was created in 2001 and has since grown to have 151 wealth planners as of July 2012. The company said it is looking to further grow its network by partnering with more businesses and hiring financial planners over the next months.
