Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander have appointed Michael Morley as managing director of Singer & Friedlander Investment Management. Mr Morley, a very well-known figure in the global wealth management industry, was previously managing director and head of International Private Banking at Barclays Wealth and is a former head of UK Private Banking at Merrill Lynch. In a statement, the Icelandic-owned bank said that Mr Morley’s appointment represents a significant step in Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander's ambition to create a joined-up wealth management offer in the UK as part of its integrated investment banking approach to mid-market businesses and high net worth individuals.
