IBM has won a contract from Misys, the application software and services company business, to power the latter’s BankFusion platform for the banking sector.

Under the licensing agreement, Misys will incorporate IBM's business analytics, information management and application server software, including Business Process Server, into its BankFusion platform.

Misys said it has also adopted IBM’s Information FrameWork product.
