HSBC Takes UAE's Rich to Brazil

HSBC Private Banking is planning to take a group of 25 millionaire investors from the UAE to Brazil, including trips to São Paulo and Rio, according to reports in the Brazilian press. "This is the first time that Brazil enters the radar screen of these investors. They went to China for two years in a row, to India and now they are interested in Latin America. Brazil is one of the main markets of the region,” Sylvia Coutinho, executive director responsible for HSBC Private Bank and Asset Management in Latin America was quoted as saying. HSBC says that over 100 clients applied for the trip which the bank says will be repeated.
