HSBC Private Bank Adds Senior Managers To Bay Area Team

HSBC Private Bank has announced a number of senior appointments to its team in the Bay Area of California.

Richard Kuchen joins as a senior vice president, relationship management. Kuchen brings ten years of private banking experience from his previous position as wealth advisor, business development and relationship manager at Wells Fargo.

Joshua Morgan joined HSBC Private Bank as a vice president and relationship manager. His responsibilities include delivering tailored wealth management solutions to high-net-worth clients.

Brendan Connaughton has recently joined HSBC Private Bank as a senior vice president and senior investment specialist to the strategies group. Prior to this role, he was a senior portfolio manager for US Bank’s Bay Area Private Client Reserve.

Desmond Chin, has rejoined HSBC Private Bank as a senior vice president. Previously, he served as vice president, private banking lending at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in New York City and at Wells Fargo in San Francisco.

“California and the Northwest region are strategic markets for HSBC Private Bank,” said Patrick Campion, chief executive of HSBC’s US Private Bank.
