HSBC Names Ex-Investec W&I Employee As New Discretionary Wealth Manager

HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed former Investec Wealth and Investment employee, Henry Flather, as a discretionary wealth manager, with effect from end-August.

Prior to joining HSBC, Flather managed Investec's multi-asset portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and pensions. Before that, he served as a financial management executive at RSM Tenon.

Reporting to Robert Candler, head of discretionary wealth management at HSBC Global Asset Management, in his new role Flather will be part of a team providing national coverage to the retail banking and wealth management network. He will work closely with the bank's advisors to deliver wealth solutions to the group's HNW private clients, a spokesperson for the bank told this publication.
