HSBC GAM Names Global Head Of Client Strategy

The bank’s investment management arm is pushing for growth among its international client base.
HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Brian Heyworth as global head of client strategy.
Heyworth, who joined HSBC a decade ago, has been global head of the financial institutions group since 2011.
In his new role, he will lead the asset management division’s relationships with HSBC's global businesses. Based in London, he will report to HSBC GAM’s global chief executive, Sri Chandrasekharan.
“The group's strong client franchise gives us a number of global opportunities and as we welcome Brian into the asset management business, I am confident that his expertise and experience will strengthen our competitive advantage and ensure that we remain the asset manager of choice for HSBC’s clients,” said Chandrasekharan.
As at 30 June 2016, HSBC GAM managed assets totalling $430 billion on behalf of its clients.
