GoldFinger has noticed that wealth managers seem quite interested in something called "structured products". His colleagues at WealthBriefing tell him that whenever the subject is featured the response from readers from around the world is very healthy. So to see what all the fuss is about he took himself off to the Structured Products Europe conference that was held in London this week. The event is part of a series that is run globally every year and has been such a success that the organisers are planning to raise the number from six this year to a staggering 11 next year, adding a plethora of new and exotic locations to the list. Peter Petkov, the publisher of Structured Products magazine which organises the events told GoldFinger: “Interest in structured products has been growing massively over the last few years, and there’s no sign of it slowing down”.
