Houston Trust Company Makes Leadership Changes

Texas-based Houston Trust Company, the trust and investment management firm, has appointed a new chief executive, chairman and chief financial officer.
CEO Lee Lahourcade succeeds William McCain, who is retiring after 20 years at the firm. McCain joined James Elkins and David Lummis when the firm was founded in 1994 and has been responsible for administration and operations since.
Meanwhile, James D’Agostino has been named as chairman of the board, while Stephanie Pollock joins as CFO.
Lahourcade has over 30 years of investment management and research experience, including over ten years in executive management at Vaughan Nelson, a Houston-based investment firm.
D’Agostino retired as chairman and CEO of Encore Bancshares, following its sale in 2012. He has over 40 years of experience in banking, wealth management and insurance, including 13 years with American General Corporation and ten at Citibank.
Lastly, Pollock was latterly a senior vice president, comptroller and chief accounting officer at Encore Bancshares, prior to its acquisition. She is a certified public accountant and has over 15 years of industry experience.
Houston Trust Company was founded in 1994 and is owned by nine families.
