iPac Financial Planning Hong Kong, which specialises in wealth creation and investment portfolio management, has promoted Hong Kong sales and operations head Rainbow Pan to the chief executive officer post.

Ms Pan is a veteran in the wealth management industry, whose background includes senior positions in the likes of Westpac and HSBC, iPac said in a statement.

She joined the Hong Kong team in 2005 as senior vice president. In 2006, she was named by the Hong Kong Institute of Financial Planners as the Best Financial Planner in the IFA category.

The international advisory group manages over $14 billion of assets for individual and institutional clients from all over the world. Its primary planning hubs are located in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, New Zealand and South Africa.
