Homrich & Berg appoints chief investment officer

Georgia wealth manager inaugurates exec role to oversee investment platform. Atlanta-based wealth-management firm Homrich & Berg has named Rick Kraich, formerly senior investment director Georgia Tech Foundation, as its new CIO.

"This is a new position for our firm that will enhance our sophisticated investment platform," says Andy Berg, CEO of Homrich & Berg. "My partners and I are thrilled to have Rick join."

Prior to joining Georgia Tech Foundation in 2005, Kraich spent two decades at BellSouth in positions ranging from financial analyst to head of alternative investments.

Homrich & Berg says it manages more than $1.6 billion for about 350 "relationships." -FWR
