Hermes Appoints Business Development Boss For Italy

The London and Singapore-based investment manager has appointed Angelo Natale to boost its Italian market presence.
London-headquartered Hermes Investment Management has hired Angelo Natale as business development director for Italy.
In the new London-based role, Natale will be responsible for building the firm's client franchise in the Italian market. He will oversee regional development and asset raising targets, reporting to Hermes' head of European business development, Paul Voûte. He joins following the recent registration of Hermes’ UCITS fund range in Italy.
Natale was previously senior director of business development at Duemme SGR, the asset management arm of Gruppo Banca Esperia. Before this, he served as group investor relations officer at Kairos Investment Management. He brings over 20 years' experience in capital markets and asset management.
“Over the past three years, Hermes has dramatically expanded third-party assets with over half of new clients coming from Europe. Italy is a core European market, important in the next stage of our growth strategy in the region. Angelo’s wealth of experience will help us deliver on this strategy,” said Voûte.
Hermes manages £29.8 billion ($45.5 billion) of assets across equities, fixed income, alternatives and real estate.
