Heritage Corporate Services Makes Triple Appointment

The fiduciary and corporate services provider has made a double board appointment and an additional promotion within its trust business.
Heritage Corporate Services has appointed Adaliz Lavarello and David Larkin to its board of directors, while promoting André de la Mare to the role of senior trust manager.
Lavarello joined HCS last year and has spent more than 20 years in trust and corporate services, having previously worked at financial institutions providing fiduciary services to wealthy families and their advisors. He brings experience in the implementation of complex trust and corporate structuring, estate planning for multi-national families involving structuring of entities and trusts, commercial and residential property, corporate investment structuring vehicles and the administration of structures involving hotels and valuable artwork.
Larkin recently joined the firm, bringing over 25 years’ experience in Guernsey’s financial services industry, having worked at large international banking organisations and smaller private trust companies. He has particular experience in trust, corporate and private family office structuring and administration with a focus on the more technical areas of trust law and dealing with complex transactions.
De la Mare has been with HCS since August last year and has 30 years of industry experience, having worked for large bank-owned trust operations for 20 years in the Channel Islands and smaller independent trust companies for the last decade in Guernsey. His background covers the administration of trust and corporate structures for international clients, commercial and residential property and investment portfolios, and the administration of corporate vehicles to manage employment of overseas staff.
“They [Lavarello and Larkin] bring a wealth of experience and form a key part of building the trust and corporate services business. It is also a pleasure to have Andre De La Mare join the senior management team,” said Mark Huntley, managing director of HCS.
“Each of these appointments are key steps as we build our business and grow our client and intermediary base. All three senior appointments are well deserved and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing a quality service to clients delivered by financial services professionals of the highest calibre.”
Heritage Corporate Services has offices in Guernsey and Malta.
