Henderson Investment Client Sells Paris Office

Horizon French Property Partnership 1 Société en Commandite par Actions Fund, advised by Henderson Global Investors, has sold its Paris-based office.

The D-Light building, which is the ex-headquarter of Prisma Press, and is located in Paris 17th, was acquired by HFPP1 in 2011, from Pramerica Real Estate Investors. Since then, it has been through significant renovation in order to upgrade the asset to the latest technical and environmental standards, the firm said in a statement.

“The sale of the D-Light asset, less than 2 years after acquisition, confirms the appetite from investors for buildings efficiently renovated and providing a modern working environment for users,” said Thibault Ancely, head of property of Henderson Global Investors France, and Peter Winstanley, president.

“As office stock becomes more and more obsolete, it becomes increasingly necessary to both smarten and technologically advance workplace environments,” they said.

In other recent developments, earlier this month Henderson appointed Derek Brydon as a UK advisory sales manager, to oversee the northern region of England. Brydon reports to Sam Mettrick, head of UK advisory sales.
