Advent has been named “Leading Provider of Fund Accounting and Reporting Systems.”

Advent Software, the provider of software and solutions for the investment management industry, has been named “Leading Provider of Fund Accounting and Reporting Systems” by The Hedge Fund Journal. The award is credited to Geneva, Advent’s global portfolio management and fund accounting platform for alternative assets. Geneva provides hedge funds, institutional portfolio managers, prime brokers and fund administrators with an integrated accounting solution that supports complex, global investment strategies and high-volume trading in multiple instruments and currencies. The Hedge Fund Journal Awards are decided by a panel of judges comprised of the editorial panel of The Hedge Fund Journal and external judges selected for their knowledge and expertise. A variety of criteria were used for selecting the winners, including: industry leadership, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies The awards were presented earlier this month at the Natural History Museum in London.
