Head Of Private Clients UK Departs UBS

The senior banker had been at UBS for more than a quarter of a century.

Shona Baijal (pictured below), the head of private clients in the UK at UBS Global Wealth Management, has left the Swiss bank, this publication can report.

Baijal has worked at UBS for 26 years and held her most recent post for six years.

WealthBriefing understands that UBS remains committed to this client segment (asset level between $2 and $5 million) and sees it as part of its core UK strategy, with considerable potential.

A spokesperson for UBS declined to comment.

A few days earlier, UBS issued its 2025 annual report, reiterating that it was on track to fully integrate the Credit Suisse business it acquired three years ago, by the end of 2026. The bank also issued 2025 financial results here.
