Mike Bussey, who previously headed up the Private Banking and Trust business at Rothschild, has decided to leave after four years, to pursue other interests according to a statement from the UK-based wealth manager. Veit de Maddalena, currently chief executive of Rothschild Bank in Zurich, has been asked to lead the business, in partnership with senior colleagues in London and Zurich, until a successor to Mr Bussey has been found. Baron Eric de Rothschild said: “In recent years, the Private Bank and Trust business has developed considerably with Mike Bussey at its head and it will continue to be a key element in the future strategy of Rothschild.”
