Head Of Investment Research Exits Charles Stanley

Ben Yearsley will be leaving after almost three years at the Direct division of London-listed investment management group Charles Stanley.
Charles Stanley Direct's head of investment research Ben Yearsley will be leaving after almost three years at the firm.
Before Yearsley joined Charles Stanley in 2012, he spent almost 15 years at Hargreaves Lansdown, where he served as an investment manager.
“We can confirm that Ben is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities. We thank him for his work here and wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” said a spokesperson for Charles Stanley.
Last week, the Charles Stanley group reported that Charles Stanley Direct's assets under administration on its core direct-to-client platform had grown 35.1 per cent in the year to the end of March. Meanwhile, the group swung to a pre-tax loss of £6.1 million ($9.7 million) over the year.
Other recent departures from the division include that of investment director Douglas McNeill, who left to join Macquarie Capital.
