Head Of Brewin Dolphin's Plymouth Office Steps Down

The UK wealth manager declined to give any further details about the departure.
The head of Brewin Dolphin's
Plymouth office, Brian James, has left the firm after seven
years, the wealth manager has confirmed to
WealthBriefing.
James had led the office since 2011. While there, he oversaw
the merger of the firm's Truro office into the Plymouth branch in
2014.
His day-to-day duties will be taken over by Darryn Richards,
divisional director.
Prior to joining Brewin Dolphin, James worked at both Barclays
Wealth and Gerrard. Brewin Dolphin confirmed his departure to
this publication but declined to comment further.
Alongside Richards in the Plymouth office are divisional
directors Ruth Smith, Chris Janes and Jonathon Croggon, as well
as investment managers Rory Kilbride and Laura Inness. The team
also includes associate investment manager James Holt.
The UK wealth manager at the end of last month
reported a significant rise in assets under management.
