Head Of Asia At RBC Wealth Management In HK Leaves

Andrew Turnczyniak, who has been the head of Asia at RBC Wealth Management in Hong Kong, China, has left the firm, this publication can report.

Andrew Turczyniak, who has been the head of Asia at RBC Wealth Management in Hong Kong, China, has left the firm, this publication can report.

The bank told this publication that regional heads at the wealth management firm will, going forward, report into Barend Janssens, who is head of RBC Wealth Management Emerging Markets. The change in reporting is designed to get teams closer to the market.

Among recent appointments at RBC Wealth Management, it announced earlier this month that Stefan Meuller joined the Asia team as managing director, head of investments and products. Meuller  previously served as managing director, head of product management, Asia-Pacific at Credit Suisse in Singapore and worked in various capacities at UBS Wealth Management also in Singapore.

RBC Wealth Management also recently added to its teams in Singapore. Soh Chye Guan (family name Soh) was appointed as managing director and market manager. He is based in Singapore and will report to Grace Barki, who is managing director and head, RBC Wealth Management - Southeast Asia. Leslie Goh was appointed as investment counsellor.
