Hartford Financial Installs VP For The Tax-Exempt

Hartford Financial Services has appointed Don MacQuattie to the newly-created post of vice president and director of retirement plans for education, healthcare, and tax-exempt organizations.

MacQuattie was a vice president and director of strategic relationships for the Retirement Plans Group and has been with the company for the past four years. In his new post, he reports to Sharon Ritchey, executive vice president and director of the group. The entire department is within the The Hartford's wealth management division.

MacQuattie's previous duties will be handled by existing staff. He will not be replaced.

The announcement follows the recent reorganization of the firm's operations into four key business units: mutual funds, individual life, retirement plans and annuities.
