Hargreaves Lansdown Names New Director

Hargreaves Lansdown is a provider of investment management and pension products and services to private investors and employers in the UK.

Hargreaves Lansdown has internally promoted chief people officer Heather Cooper to director.

Cooper joined the firm in November 2015 from Gordon Cooper Associates and, according to Hargreaves Lansdown, has extensive expertise in the development and implementation of people management strategies. During her time at Hargreaves Lansdown she has been responsible for leading its people strategy, which focuses on attracting and developing talented individuals. She began her career with Marks and Spencer and has also held a number of senior positions at Deloitte in both HR leadership and HR consultancy.

“To have someone of Heather’s talent and knowledge on our team demonstrates our ongoing commitment to all our 1,000-plus Hargreaves Lansdown colleagues whose capabilities directly deliver excellent client service,” said Ian Gorham, chief executive of Hargreaves Lansdown.
