Hamilton Lane Makes Senior Promotions, Appointments

US-headquartered private markets investment firm Hamilton Lane, which has $1 trillion in assets under management and supervision, announced yesterday that it has made over 25 promotions and appointments.
Hamilton Lane has made a number of appointments, including Alexandre Hökfelt in London as managing director on the direct credit investment team, overseeing the firm’s UK and European Direct Credit platform. He leads investment sourcing and due diligence efforts.
Hökfelt reports to Tom Kerr, co-head of investments and co-head of secondaries, the firm said in a statement.
It also appointed Christopher Alpaugh as managing director, head of national sales, reporting to Beth Nardi, head of US private wealth. Based in New York, he will be involved with the development and execution of the firm’s US evergreen sales strategy.
In Switzerland, Maria Sala was appointed as principal and head of multi-strategy, evergreen product specialist, where she leads the global ex-US product specialist effort for multi-strategy evergreen investment solutions, the firm continued.
She is joining from BlackRock, where she spent more than a decade, most recently as head of Wealth Alternatives Specialists for DACH and Italy. In that role, she led private markets distribution across Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Austria. Earlier in her career, she served in senior client-facing roles at Barclays, Goldman Sachs and HSBC, the firm said in a statement.
The firm also recognized the promotions of the following individuals to managing director:

All promotions were effective as of April 1, 2026.
