Guggenheim Funds Launches Seminars For Advisors’ Clients

Guggenheim Funds Distributors, through the Guggenheim Funds Academy, has started offering seminars to advisors’ clients.

The first seminar, called “Your True Legacy: It’s Not Just Your Value, It’s Your Values,” reviews the fundamental differences in how male and female investors view wealth and investing. The seminar introduces female investors to personal legacy documents, aimed at empowering them to have meaningful conversations with family members about passing down their values, beliefs, life lessons and personal stories.

Half of stock market investors are women and they are expected to control more than 60 per cent of the country’s wealth, according to Guggenheim, which maintains this group is underserved.

Academy founder and vice chairman of Guggenheim Funds Tony DiLeonardi co-authored a book with executive coach Barbara Kay, called “The $14 Trillion Woman: Your Essential Guide to Engaging the Female Client.”

“Our goal was to provide advisors a straightforward and practical method for reaching women clients,” DiLeonardi said. “Our premise is simple―advisors that can effectively reach this group will strengthen their business growth prospects.”

Guggenheim Funds is a subsidiary of Guggenheim Partners. The parent company last week launched an open architecture platform for intermediaries with wealthy clients.
