Growth In The Channel Islands Leads To New Role At BMI

A new senior investment advisor has been appointed at Brooks Macdonald International’s Guernsey office to aid the firm’s growth.

A new senior investment advisor has been appointed at Brooks Macdonald International’s Guernsey office to aid the firm’s growth.

Leaving his post as a stockbroker for Cannacord, Jeremy Stubbs joins BMI to lead its investment advisory and dealing teams.

Growing transactions in offshore jurisdictions led BMI to create Stubb's position. The firm felt these required an additional senior role to service them, it told this publication.

Stubbs will use his thirteen years’ experience in the financial services industry to help expand the firm’s advisory, dealing and FX departments, he said in a statement. He will report to Matt Watson, the head of BMI’s office on the island.

Based in Guernsey and Jersey, the firm provides discretionary investment management and stockbroking.
