Global Investment Firm Hires For Dubai Office

Invesco Asset Management, part of Invesco, the independent global investment management firm, has hired Zainab Kufaishi as institutional account manager for its Dubai-based Middle East operations from Fidelity International.

Ms Kufaishi joins the firm’s Dubai office from London, where she worked in the Middle East institutional marketing and UK institutional sales and marketing teams for Fidelity International, the firm said in a statement.

“Despite the uncertainty that surrounded the investment world at the beginning of the year, we are seeing confidence and trust return to financial markets,” said Nick Tolchard, managing director of Invesco’s International Development Division.

“We are delighted to welcome Zainab to our well-established, five-strong local team who support our growing network of retail intermediaries and institutional clients across the region,” he added.

Invesco opened its office in Dubai in September 2005 and has a licence from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to operate from the Dubai International Financial Centre, the firm said.
