Global Headhunter Poaches From A Rival

The global headhunter firm has recruited a senior figure with experience in the UK and Australian financial services sector.
Sheffield Haworth, the international headhunter firm, has appointed Elizabeth Roberts, a figure working in the UK and Australian financial services industry, as head of its interim consulting practice, to be based in London. Roberts joins the firm – which specialises in executive search, interim consulting and human capital research, and advisory services - from rival Leathwaite.
Roberts will focus on developing the firm’s interim consulting service and partnering with clients to provide strategic advice and delivery in times of change, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
“Interim consulting has become a core resourcing strategy for our clients, many of who require senior practitioners to support their corporate initiatives. Elizabeth has a successful track record in this field and we look forward to our interim consulting practice becoming a core part of our broader human capital service,” Tim Sheffield, executive chairman, said.
During her time at Leathwaite, Roberts led the firm’s interim practice and developed its offering across finance, operations, business management, risk, compliance, HR and strategy. Roberts began her career in investment banking in 1993 working for Swiss Banking Corporation in London and Deutsche Bank in Sydney, following which she spent ten years specialising in financial services recruitment at Michael Page.
