Generali's Asset Management Arm Adds Senior Credit Expert

Generali Investments Europe has added a senior credit analyst to its Paris branch.
Generali Investments Europe, asset manager of Italy’s Generali Group, has
appointed Hervé Gay as a senior credit analyst in its Paris
branch.
The “top-rated” credit analyst was formerly a senior sell-side
fixed income credit analyst and deputy head of credit research at
Societe Generale in Paris, earning him the prestige of being
named the top analyst covering the European utilities sector in
2013 for the fifth consecutive year in the Euromoney Fixed
Income investors Survey.
The appointment comes after GIE launched a new equity fund
focusing on Southern Europe two months ago, while Borsellino was
appointed chief executive to replace Philippe Setbon last year,
who has worked for investment banks and asset managers in London
and Milan.
GIE is one of the largest asset managers in Europe with more than
€330 billion ($457.6 billion) of assets under management.
