Gaming Tycoon's Daughter Takes A Bigger Role At Portuguese Private Bank

Pansy Ho Chiu King, the daughter of Stanley Ho, has been chosen to represent the Stanley Ho Group on the supervisory board of Portugal private bank BCP starting 18 April this year, a report by Macau Business shows.

Pansy Ho takes over from Patrick Huen Wing Ming, who has been considered as the billionaire's right hand man. She officially assumes her post at the scheduled annual general meeting in April and will reportedly hold this role until the end of 2013.

The stake in BCP covers Stanley Ho Hung Sun's 0.64 per cent stake, plus Sociedad de Turismo e Diversoes de Macau's 1.62 per cent interest. STDM is the parent firm of SJM Holdings, which controls the Macau-based gaming firm Sociedade de Jogos de Macau.

The announcement of Pansy Ho's new role comes shortly after Mr Ho's 31.655 per cent interest in STDM was redistributed to reflect concerns raised during a family dispute over the billionaire's empire.
