London-based Fulcrum Asset Management has hired Nicholas Smith as a director within its UK institutional marketing and sales team.

Smith joins from consultancy Towers Watson, where he was head of the UK defined contribution investment team. He also previously worked at Schroders, where he was an executive director, responsible for UK pension clients. In his new role, he will be responsible for further building Fulcrum’s presence in the UK pensions market for both defined benefit or final salary, and defined contribution schemes.
