A French woman has admitted to Swiss police to the murder of Edouard Stern, the former Lazard investment bank who lived in Geneva. Mr Stern was found shot earlier this month. The woman had access to a missing key to Mr Stern's city-centre apartment in Geneva, the investigating judge, Michel-Alexandre Graber, said in a statement. The apartment showed no signs of a break-in, the police said at the time. The judge said the woman shot Stern four times, including twice in the head, with a hand gun. She was arrested early on Wednesday. Mr Stern, 50, the son-in-law of the Lazard controlling shareholder, Michel David-Weill, was wearing a latex bodysuit when he was found dead on March 1, the judge said. The woman, who was not identified, had been a close friend of Stern for many years, and had recently become involved in legal proceeding with him over financial matters, Mr Graber said, without giving further details.
