French Bank Offers Wealth Management Training

UAF Patrimoine, a subsidiary of Credit Agricole’s Predica life insurance arm, has set up UAF Patrimoine Formation to provide intra-company and bespoke training courses in wealth management. Starting in November 2007, the firm will specialise in the training of wealth management professionals, including independent and in-house financial advisors, notaries, lawyers, accountants and asset managers. Its programmes will cover legal, tax, regulatory and succession planning issues. UAF Patrimoine chief executive Jean-Jacques Branche said: “We are offering a range of training programmes that respond to strong industry demand at a time when the wealth management environment is undergoing major changes.” UAF Patrimoine provides financial engineering services in the field of life insurance for independent wealth management advisors and major accounts. At end 2006, UAF Patrimoine had sales of €278 million ($385 million) with €914 million under management.
