French Asset Manager Appoints New CIO

IXIS Asset Management, which manages both institutional and high net worth money, has appointed Véronique Leroux as its new chief investment officer. Ms Leroux will supervise investment, research and trading teams, IXIS said in a statement. She was head of asset management at SCOR, the French reinsurer, since 2000. Before that Ms Leroux was a former chief executive of Dresdner RCM Management, Dresdner Bank’s French asset management subsidiary. IXIS Asset Management is the holding company for a diverse group of specialized investment firms with over €383 billion ($457.2 billion) under management.
