Former Barclays Wealth Private Banker Joins Brewin Dolphin's London Office

Brewin Dolphin has £35.4 billion ($43.1 billion) in funds under management.

Brewin Dolphin has appointed former Barclays Wealth private banker Godfrey Cromwell as a divisional director within its London office.

Cromwell spent eight years with Barclays wealth management arm as a private banker. He has a background in developing UK and international businesses, Brewin Dolphin said in a statement, adding that he will maintain his role as a cross-bench peer in the House of Lords.

“We are delighted that Godfrey has joined us. No doubt his focus on clients will help us continue our organic growth strategy and momentum in our discretionary funds business. His decades of experience in the international business community, plus his last eight years as a very successful private banker, mean that he will further strengthen an already strong team,” said David Nicol, chief executive of Brewin Dolphin.
