FOLIOfn in re-sale deal with New Vision Financial

NVF to market the FOLIOfn platform to African-American church congregants. New Vision Financial is going to help fractional-share discount broker FOLIOfn market its Folio Unlimited portfolios to members of predominantly African-American church congregations.
Charlotte, N.C.-based New Vision provides financial services to multicultural markets. It has a potential client base of 300,000 in 460 churches in North Carolina and Georgia.

New Vision will hire and train financial advisors who will then market "New Vision FOLIOs" to church congregations.
"We are excited to announce the alliance with Vienna, Va.-based FOLIOfn to provide access to highly innovative financial services," says New Vision Financial's president and CEO Dwayne Rahman. "We believe our offering will encourage millions of people to create [retirement accounts] through New Vision Legacy Folios."
New Vision's clients are going to be able to access FOLIOfn's Folio Unlimited plan, which provides customizable, diversified portfolios that are designed to match various investment objectives. Folio Unlimited goes for $29 a month and includes "commission-free" trading. -FWR
