Focus Solutions, the UK-based financial services technology firm, has named Kieron O’Toole as implementation director following the departure of Frank Murray, customer services director.

O’Toole was latterly global operations director at Patsystems, a role in which he oversaw all operational aspects of the firm’s running, including product strategy, development, implementation and global customer support. Before this he held senior operations and project management positions at the likes of Tieto, Fiserv and Unisys.

In his new role O’Toole will direct Focus’ implementation strategy in both the UK and internationally, and will be responsible for overhauling the implementation team to better support international deliveries. Asia Pacific, Africa and Continental Europe have been identified by the firm as particular focuses of future growth.

Back at the start of the year Focus opened a new office in Hong Kong with a view to tapping the significant growth in Asia's mass affluent population. The new office – based at Two International Finance Centre -  will serve as Focus' hub for its entire Asia-Pacific operations.
