FOA To Offer Online Networking To Families

TheFamily Office Association will partner with Summitas to set up a secure online network making it the first family office networking group, FOA said. Families will be able to discuss topics online with an exclusive community open only to other members of the group.
"We believe that providing a regular way to connect with friends and request information and trusted referrals is essential to the growth of our group,” founder Angelo Robles said. “We have families in South Africa, Italy, Dubai and all over the US who would like to have more connectivity with the group outside our major summits."
FOA also reported a record number of attendees to its Global Summit in Greenwich, Connecticut last week. The group has grown in 12 months, going from a small conference of 40 to 250 last week.
"We have been very fortunate to have staunch early support from substantial families, a tremendous board, and an unbeatable lineup of speakers like John Paulson, David Einhorn, Bill Ackman, Paul Singer, Richard Perry, Nassim Taleb, Mark Lasry, Dan Loeb and Michael Milken among others," Robles said.
“FOA is about investments, sure, but the family dynamics involved with living with wealth are never far from the discussion," he added.
