Florida-based Newbridge Financial has brought in Todd Newton as president and co-chief executive of its broker-dealer and registered investment advisor subsidiaries.

Newton takes over the role at Newbridge Securities Corporation, the broker-dealer unit, and Newbridge Financial Services Group, the SEC-registered investment advisor.

He will work alongside co-CEO Tom Casolaro and chief financial officer Bob Spitler.

Newton has previously been president and CEO of Anderson Strudwick, as well as CEO of Sterne Agee Financial Services.

“The addition of Todd will significantly enhance our current senior management team, enabling us to benefit from his experience in identifying and targeting greater recruiting opportunities that exist in today's financial services environment,” said Casolaro.
