KNG Securities, the UK-based fixed income boutique, has appointed Andrea Podesta as managing partner and head of fixed income as part of its wider growth strategy.

Latterly, Podesta worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as managing director and head of southern Europe fixed income sales; he had held several senior roles at the US giant since joining in 2005.

In his new role Podesta will form part of KNG’s executive committee, alongside co-founders Arup Ganguly and Nick Nugent.

Established in 2003, KNG is an independent fixed income specialist, dealing in a range of products across fixed income, convertible bond and debt capital markets.
