Fiserv Appoints President Of Investment Services

Financial services technology provider Fiserv has appointed Cheryl Nash, a 28-year veteran of the firm, as president of its investment services division.

During her time at the firm so far, Nash has been instrumental in the development of multiple strategy portfolios, or unified managed accounts, and also played significant roles in the acquisitions of Upstream Technologies and AdviceAmerica, Fiserv said.

She began her career as one of the first employees at Security APL, which became CheckFree Investment Services, and was acquired by Fiserv in December 2007.

Nash also drove the convergence strategy for investment services, and last month Fiserv announced it had integrated its managed accounts products into a single platform. The firm’s unified wealth management platform is now available for clients, including separately managed accounts, mutual fund advisory, rep as portfolio manager and exchange-traded funds.

Prior to the permanent appointment, Nash had been serving as interim president, since former president Sean Gallagher left the company over the summer. She reports directly to Mike Gianoni, group president of the firm’s Financial Institutions Group, and is based at its Jersey City, NJ office.
