First Republic Bank has appointed Betsy Sullivan as a managing director and relationship manager in Boston, as it continues to expand its coverage of the US market.

Prior to this position, she served as vice president for Boston Private Bank and also previously earlier worked at Sovereign Bank and Citizens Bank. She will be based at the Federal Street office, serving clients in the Boston, South Shore, and Cape Cod areas.

She will work with individuals, families, businesses and foundations to provide private banking, investment management, trust, brokerage and real estate lending service.
