A UK-based provider of digital risk profiling and financial planning services has boosted its business development capabilities.

Distribution Technology has appointed Lisa Williams to the newly-created role of senior consultant.

Williams joins from eValue Investment Solutions where she worked with large advisory, wealth management, corporate advisory groups and networks. She was also compliance manager within the Moneybee business of eValue and before that, business development consultant for HSBC Wealth Distribution Support. Williams has also worked within the business development and compliance teams at Prudential, AXA Wealth Management and Hargreaves Lansdown.

Based at the firm's Reading headquarters, she will be responsible for developing digitally supported advice solutions, from advisor-driven applications to customer self-serve tools, with financial institutions.  She will report to Ben Goss, chief executive of Distribution Technology.

“Lisa will be another great senior addition to our sales team. Her knowledge, experience and contacts within the industry will be of great benefit to DT as we develop more digitally supported advice and guidance solutions with financial institutions,” said Goss.

Last month, Abhimanyu Chatterjee joined the firm's asset and risk modelling team as principal investment analyst.
