Financial Services Recruiter Eyes International Growth

Global recruiter Morgan McKinley has laid out its plans to boost headcount to 1,100 people worldwide.
Ireland-headquartered Morgan McKinley, which provides recruitment services to industries including banking and financial services, is kickstarting a global expansion drive to hire more than 300 people over the next three years.
The new roles, 80 of which are expected to be based in the firm’s Ireland headquarters, will take its headcount from 800 to 1,100 people across 10 countries. Morgan McKinley said it had seen strong growth in 2015 so far and the outlook going into next year is “very positive”. With operations in the UK, Ireland, Paris, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Tokyo, Sydney and India, the recruitment drive aims to support further growth while opening additional expansion opportunities overseas.
“Our clients want to work with people with an ability to attract great talent as well as deliver a strong customer experience. Ensuring the very best teams are in place will allow us to put further distance between the quality of our recruitment offering and our competitors, and we’re seeing the growth that proves we’re delivering what our clients want and need to build for the future,” said Morgan McKinley’s chief executive and founder, Pat Fitzgerald.
The announcement follows Morgan McKinley’s recent London Employment Monitor, which revealed that the number of job seekers in London's financial services industry more than doubled to 15,212 in August, compared to 7,404 a year ago.
