Financial Advisor Makes Flurry Of Executive Hires

The firm has made seven new appointments as part of its growth strategy plan.

Financial advisor Succession has made a flurry of appointments in a bid to strengthen its executive and management teams. This is part of the firm’s growth strategy.

James Stevenson has been appointed managing director of Succession Group; Sanjay Shah will be managing director of Succession Advisory Services; and Simon Charles has been hired as group HR director. Hazel Hodge, Helen Blackmore, Karen King and Mark Stokes have all been appointed to various strategic roles across the group, the firm said yesterday in a statement.

Stevenson joined Succession Group in 2015 as group operating director. In his new role, he will focus on the strategic direction of the group and deliver a client-centric wealth management service.

Shah will be responsible for supporting affiliated members and stimulating growth. Charles will be responsible for driving the agenda within the human resources department.

Hodge joins as a membership director at Succession Advisory Services; Blackmore joins as head of Succession Group HR; King joins as group head of learning and development; and Stokes will become group proposition and marketing director.
